摘要：Objetivo: identificar estratégias que contribuem para promoção de saúde mental do paciente em tratamento oncológico. Metodologia: trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, cuja análise se fez a partir da técnica da revisão integrativa da literatura, realizada com artigos publicados e indexados na Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS) e nos bancos de dados MEDLINE, LILACS e BDENF. Resultados: dos 331 artigos encontrados, após a aplicação dos critérios de inclusão e exclusão e da análise dos seus conteúdos, 9 foram selecionados para análise do estudo. Foram identificados dois núcleos de significado: estratégias de promoção de saúde mental ao paciente oncológico e cuidado humanizado de enfermagem. Conclusão: as estratégias para promoção de saúde mental são fundamentais no enfretamento da doença, pois amenizam o sofrimento e contribuem para melhor aceitação e envolvimento terapêutico do paciente. Destaca-se também a importância da enfermagem para o restabelecimento do indivíduo, devendo o enfermeiro ter conhecimento especializado, conhecimentos terapêuticos de tanatologia e cuidados paliativos.
其他摘要：Objective: identify strategies that contribute to the promotion of mental health of patients undergoing cancer treatment. Methodology: this is a qualitative research, whose analysis was based on the technique of integrative literature review, carried out with articles published and indexed in the Virtual Health Library (VHL) and in the MEDLINE, LILACS and BDENF databases. Results: of the 331 articles found, after applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria and analyzing their contents, 9 were selected for analysis of the study. Two nuclei of meaning were identified: mental health promotion strategies for cancer patients and humanized nursing care. Conclusion: the strategies for promoting mental health are fundamental in coping with the disease, as they alleviate suffering and contribute to better patient acceptance and therapeutic involvement. However, it also highlights the importance of nursing for the recovery of the individual, and the nurse must have specialized knowledge, therapeutic knowledge of Thanatology and palliative care.
