摘要：A FAV traz grandes benefícios para o paciente, maior durabilidade, baixo índice de infecção e trombose, promove liberdade de movimentos e ação, acesso mais seguro, as desvantagens que ela ocasiona são: isquemia de extremidades, baixo fluxo por espasmo, trombose venosa parcial ou total, surgimento de aneurisma e hematomas. O Objeto deste estudo trata-se do conhecimento do enfermeiro e sua equipe com punção de Botão em fístula arteriovenosa. Com Objetivos: Identificar o conhecimento do enfermeiro e sua equipe de enfermagem sobre a técnica de botoeira para punção em FAV e Descrever o papel do enfermeiro e de sua equipe na manipulação e treinamento sobre a técnica botoeira. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de campo de natureza qualitativa, realizada num centro hemodiálise no Rio de Janeiro. Os participantes foram a equipe de enfermagem. Participaram da pesquisa, 20 profissionais, sendo 05 (cinco) Enfermeiros e 15 (quinze) técnicos em enfermagem. A partir da análise dos depoimentos dos participantes, originaram-se as seguintes categorias: O Conhecimento da Equipe, Treinamento da Equipe e Percepções da equipe sobre as vantagens associadas ao uso da técnica. Espera-se que este estudo possa trazer e produzir uma reflexão e uma narrativa diferente sobre o assunto abordado, entendendo que os pacientes que são submetidos ao tratamento de hemodiálise possuem uma melhora significativa na sua qualidade de vida.

The object of this study is the knowledge of the nurse and his team with Button puncture in arteriovenous fistula. With Objectives: To identify the knowledge of the nurse and his nursing team about the buttonhole technique for puncture in the AVF and Describe the role of the nurse and his team in handling and training about the buttonhole technique. This is a qualitative field research carried out at a hemodialysis center in Rio de Janeiro. The participants were the nursing team. Twenty professionals participated in the research, being 05 (five) nurses and 15 (fifteen) nursing technicians. From the analysis of the participants' testimonies, the following categories originated: Team Knowledge, Team Training and Team Perceptions about the advantages associated with the use of the technique. It is hoped that this study can bring and produce a reflection and a different narrative on the subject addressed, understanding that patients who undergo hemodialysis treatment have a significant improvement in their quality of life.
