摘要：The sugar industry underpins the economic and social fabric of a cross section of North Queensland. The aim of this paper is to recontextualize the ambient sounds and visual narratives embedded within the crushing process. This study demonstrates to workers and the wider community, undiscovered meaning in these everyday events.
