摘要：By applying the Psychological Well-being Scale (PWBS), using the subscales Subjective, Labour, Material, and Relationship Well-being, the study determined the degree of psychological well-being perceived in the police personnel (n = 602 officers) who work in the Colombian Caribbean Coast, in relation to their rank, their place of work, their gender, and their age. The analysis found that the Subjective Psychological Well-being subscale obtained the highest percentage (64%), followed by the General Well-being scale (61%) and the Material Well-being scale (59%); while the Labour Well-being scale obtained the lowest score in the high range (45%). Regarding the analysis by police unit, those with a high degree of General Well-being include Guajira and Sucre; while the rest of the units are in the medium well-being range, including the units from Barranquilla and Cartagena which have the lowest values on the general scale. Therefore, a protocol was designed with topics and methodologies that provide mental health professionals with the necessary tools to approach and improve the objective perception of the degree of psychological well-being in the uniformed members of the National Police in the region studied.
其他摘要：Mediante la aplicación de la Escala de Bienestar Psicológico (EBP), en las subescalas de Bienestar Subjetivo, Laboral, Material y de Relaciones con la Pareja, el estudio determinó el grado de bienestar psicológico percibido en el personal de policía (n=602 uniformados) que labora en la Costa Caribe colombiana, en relación con el grado policial, el lugar de trabajo, el sexo y la edad de los individuos. Durante el análisis, se encontró que la subescala de Bienestar Psicológico Subjetivo obtuvo el mayor porcentaje (64 %), seguida de la Escala General de Bienestar (61 %) y Bienestar Material (59 %); mientras que la Escala de Bienestar Laboral fue la que obtuvo menor puntaje en el rango de alto (45 %). En cuanto al análisis por unidad de policía, las que presentan alto grado de bienestar general son Guajira y Sucre; al tiempo que el resto de las unidades se encuentra en el rango de bienestar medio, incluidas las unidades de Barranquilla y Cartagena, en donde se encuentran los valores más bajos en la escala general. Por lo anterior, se diseñó un protocolo, con temáticas y metodologías, que permite brindar herramientas a los profesionales de la salud mental para el abordaje y la mejoría de la percepción objetiva del grado de bienestar psicológico en los uniformados de la Policía Nacional en la región de estudio.
