摘要:This inaugural professorial lecture discusses the roles and responsibilities of the architectural historian. It reflects on the work of Manfredo Tafuri, but also the institutional circumstances and settings in which the author’s own formation as an historian of architecture took place. It concludes with an introduction to the themes of the author’s current research on the Australian city of the Gold Coast.
