摘要：Este trabajo analiza el discurso visual de las xilografías que acompañan los versos de La Lira Popular, literatura de cordel de amplia circulación en Chile a fines del siglo XIX y comienzos del XX. Se persigue difundir tales producciones porque constituyen un patrimonio histórico artístico, expresión del imago mundi de los grupos subalternos, porque son una valiosa fuente donde se pueden identificar las ideas, sentimientos, configuraciones que dan cuerpo a una narrativa generada en un espacio que queda fuera del control cultural de la élite, y que se desarrolla en paralelo al proceso de construcción de la hegemonía política que el Estado llevaba adelante en la época. La metodología desarrollada es hipotético deductiva centrada en la discusión y análisis de fuentes secundarias y primarias, respectivamente; cuyo resultado principal ha sido evidenciar que los artistas populares constituyeron un espacio en el que se podía fugar del control hegemónico.
其他摘要：Abstract This work analyzes the visual discourse of the xylographs of La Lira Popular, a string literature of wide circulation in Chile at the end of the 19th century. The aim is to disseminate such productions because they constitute a historical artistic heritage, an expression of the imago mundi of the subaltern social groups, because they are a valuable source where the ideas, feelings, configurations that give body to a generated narrative in a space that is outside. of cultural control of the elite that can be identified, and that develops in parallel to the process of construction of the political hegemony that the State carried forward at the time. The methodology developed is a hypothetical deductive, centered on the discussion and analysis of secondary and primary sources, respectively; whose main result has been to show that popular artists constituted a space in which they could escape from hegemonic control.
