摘要：Todavía hoy conocemos mal la transición entre Austrias y Borbones dentro del ejército español. Este texto ahonda sobre esta cuestión, analizando si hubo continuidad en el generalato en la primera mitad del siglo XVIII, estudiando para ello las carreras de distintos militares durante las últimas décadas del reinado de Carlos II y la Guerra de Sucesión española.
其他摘要：Even today little is known about the transition between Habsburgs and Bourbons inside the Spanish army. This article addresses this matter, analyzing whether there was continuity in the army generals in the first half of the 18th century, evaluating the careers of several officers during the last decades of the 17th century and the War of the Spanish Succession.
