摘要：This study aims to gain an in-depth study of the supervision carried out by the headmaster. This study uses a qualitative approach, and the data collection techniques used are participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation studies. This research was conducted in MAN 1 Trenggalek and MAN 2 Trenggalek, East Java. The results of this study that the head of the madrasa in carrying out supervision of learning adjusts to the plans outlined in the supervision program, uses instruments and observation sheets, uses the principles of supervision, uses techniques and approaches that are varied and carried out in a pleasant atmosphere. The head of the madrasa in order to carry out strategic steps as an embryo of success in implementing learning supervision in the madrasah.
