摘要:El turismo no se aparta de contar con la oportunidad de llegar en un futuro a desarrollarse en destinos poco conocidos a través de cluster. La concentración geográfica de oferentes de servicios cercanos, el interés de la autoridad pública y la participación de la academia, y el capital humano son elementos que permiten la revisión de un caso particular con potencial, como es el Departamento de Cundinamarca, Colombia. Aunque es incipiente su dinámica en esta actividad, el Gobierno, los empresarios, la academia y los gremios encuentran una oportunidad de desarrollo regional para ser reconocidos a futuro como destino turístico. Por lo tanto, a lo largo de este artículo se establecen los elementos más importantes que pueden impulsar y apalancar en el futuro el desarrollo de una propuesta de cluster turístico para la región y que se generan como resultados de la investigación “Desarrollo de una propuesta de un cluster turístico para Cundinamarca como estrategia de competitividad”. Abstract Tourism should not turn down the opportunity of being developed into litle known destinations in the future through a tourism cluster. The geographic concentration of suppliers of services nearby, the interest of the public authority, and the participation of the academic community, and human capital, are elements that enable a particular case with potential to be assessed, as is the Department of Cundinamarca, Colombia. Although their dynamics in this activity are emerging, the government, business, the academic community and trade unions will find an opportunity for regional development in order to be recognized as a future tourist destination. Therefore, as a result of this study, this article sets out the most important elements that can promote and increase future development of a proposed tourist cluster for the region.
