  • 摘要:Resumen El presente artículo explora el concepto de sostenibilidad empresarial, enmarcado en el esquema del uso intensivo del teletrabajo para la economía de un país en desarrollo, específicamente el caso de Colombia. Se señalan las correlaciones directas que han realizado algunos autores en términos generales sobre el fenómeno del teletrabajo y aspectos específicos de creación (o destrucción) sostenida de valor económico, social y ambiental en una sociedad. La conclusión provisional obtenida se enfoca en comprender la adopción sistemática de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación y el teletrabajo en países como Colombia; podría ser un activador directo de beneficios a todo nivel, pero solo si se llega a tener en cuenta unas condiciones particulares de entorno, organización y especialmente adecuada gerencia de los recursos humanos. De lo contrario los efectos podrían ser incluso contraproducentes para los objetivos de desarrollo y bienestar de las empresas y, por ende, de la sociedad. Abstract This paper explores several points of view about Business Sustainability as a concept that can be related to the intensive use of Teleworking applied to job positions in companies, especially in economies of developing countries, and for this particular case, Colombia. Direct relationships between telecommuting, as a tangible example of that mentioned before, and some aspects that represent economic, social and environmental value creation are highlighted, based on a literature review. The provisional conclusion found, should help to prepare the way for understanding that a systematic, and appropriate adoption of new forms of working with the intensive use of {ICT} (as teleworking) in countries like Colombia could be a direct activator of benefits at all levels, only if special conditions of environment, organization, and above all, adequate human resource management are taking into account. Otherwise the effects could be counter-productive in terms of achieving goals of development and welfare of companies, and finally, of the society itself.
