摘要：The article reveals the experience of the Southern Federal University Scientific Library in accompanying the scientific and publishing activities of the university. The methods of conducting main library services are described, including that of the following areas: full-text databases access provision and user councelling, publication activity monitoring of the university and its subdivisions, identification of scientific publications in international citation bases. The experience of councelling university staff in forming a strategy of research results publication is given.
