摘要：Neste artigo reflito sobre a constituição de uma unidade sociológica ye’kwana e da consequente matriz de relação destes com seus Outros, à luz do conceito nativo de weichö, que traduzo aqui como “modo de vida”. O exame de como o “modo de vida” ye’kwana se constitui e opera é fundamental para se compreender a relação que estes estabelecem com a fronteira internacional que corta seu território tradicional, bem como as relações entre as comunidades ye’kwana situadas em território brasileiro e venezuelano.
