摘要：O presente trabalho contrasta duas formas de relação com o meio hídrico no estuário do Amazonas – os lagos e a costa. Argumenta-se que a abordagem sobre o ambiente não pode prescindir de um tratamento das relações técnicas, o que envia ao problema do ritmo e do tempo. Ao fim, demonstra-se como nos lagos a pesca de pirarucu envolve relações semióticas, enquanto na costa a relação das técnicas com a maré resultam numa cinética (força, resistência etc.).
其他摘要：This paper contrasts two forms of relation with the water environment in the Amazon River estuary – the lagoons and coast. It is argued that the approach toward the environment cannot prescind dealing with the technical relations, which send to the problem of rhythm and time. At the end, it is demonstrated how, in the lagoons, the fishing of piraracu (Arapaima gigas) involves semiotic relations, whereas, on the coast, the relation of the techniques with the tide result in a kinetic force, resistance etc.
