摘要：The paper looks at the issue of integrating the knowledge and methods of computer electronics into forensic recovery of vehicle identification numbers (VINs). In particular, data from the tachograph control unit is suggested as an additional source of evidence for vehicle identification, i. e. VIN recovery.
