摘要：In the paper issues of scientific and methodical support of publishing activity of the scientific library in modern conditions are considered, features of publishing activity of the V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine are described. The need to harmonize the format of domestic industry-specific periodical scientific publications and the requirements of scientific publications presented in the world science-based databases was noted. In particular, attention is focused on the advisability of developing guidelines for the preparation and editing of bibliographic lists in publications for publications that are indexed in science-based databases. It is noted that in the context of the development of the publishing activity of the scientific library, an increase in the growth rates of electronic products, printed publications, which strengthen the role of the library as a subject of information relations is currently present. A new model of the scientific library is being formed, when it becomes both a manufacturer and a publisher. Today scientific libraries are actively developing their own publishing activities. The work of scientific and methodical departments of the library within the context of publishing activity is highlighted. It is determined that the publishing activity is directed, among other things, to the scientific and methodological support of the library and information work of the NBUV and the library and information divisions of the NAS system.
