摘要：The article reviews the achievements of Ukrainian libraries in development of biographical research and biographical information activity, including preparation bibliographic indexes, directories through personal archives, forming electronic resources biographical information, enriching the theoretical and methodological foundations of biographical studies as a special historical discipline and bibliography. Attention is paid to the task of integrating the efforts of libraries, research institutions, educational institutions, corporations, publishers, and information to create printed and electronic information resources that would broadly disclose historical and contemporary creative human potential of Ukraine.
