摘要：The article for the first time presents expanded biographical characteristics and bichronics of main events in the life and scientific work of the outstanding Ukrainian scientist-geologist O. I. Spasokukotsky, the author of the memoirs about V. I. Vernadsky, which are deposited at the Institute of Manuscript of Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine. The biography of O. I. Spasokukotsky is compiled as a result of the study of materials and documentary sources of the personal fund of the scientist (F. 265, Institute of Manuscript, VNLU), which has 468 units and contains materials of a biographical nature, documents related to his scientific activity, personal correspondence, as well as literary works. Most of the documents and materials of the fund have not been published yet and are of considerable scientific interest. The publication and analysis of personal memoirs of O. I. Spasokukotsky about the scientific activity and personality of the great scientist V. I. Vernadsky, some of which are introduced by the author to science for the first time, are of particular importance.
