摘要：The rapid development of science and technology in the recent decades has led to the fact that men have mastered nature and achieved the unseen economic progress. However; this has resulted in environmental degradation to the extent that it brought into question the survival of civilization itself. The desire for profit has led to a fairly irresponsible behavior of companies; resulting in the destruction of natural resources and environmental degradation. This paper aims to draw attention to the environmental management system as a separate discipline. In more specific terms; that refers to the need for environmental and working environment management; while emphasizing the role of organizational culture in that process.
