摘要：This study aims to describe the results of the analysis of multicultural essay ideas in grade 2 students of Timuran State Elementary School. This research is a qualitative study conducted at the East Timuran Elementary School in Yogyakarta. The research subjects are second grade students and the object of research is the results of students' multicultural essays. Data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. Then, the data analysis technique is descriptive qualitative with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that most student essays are in accordance with the theme of multiculturalism. As much as 48% percent of students 'essays as a whole contain multicultural ideas, 30% of students' essays have little or some of them contain multicultural ideas, and the remaining 22% have no multicultural content in student essays. Regarding the title analysis, most of the essay titles are in accordance with the theme that is multicultural, as well as the contents or ideas of the essay, which are mostly in accordance with the multicultural theme.
