摘要:The sanitary and medical service was an organised unit operating during the uprising, established even before the uprising. Doctors and pharmacists were a social group very much involved in regaining independence. They rationally used the available means, gave their assistance both on the front line and in cities. Using the tactics of organized evacuation and the treatment of the wounded, they helped to reduce mortality and shortened the treatment of the wounded.The aim of the article is to present the selected aspects of the sanitary and medical service and highlight its substantial contribution to the success of the uprising.
