摘要：Concern about the Internet’s potential for cyberbullying victimization among children is also growing among researchers, parents and educators given the consequences of these negative interactions for children’s psychosocial functioning. Research on cyberbullying victimization is now attempting to understand the individual and familial correlates associated with this kind of cyber aggression to identify key recommendations to prevent it. Previous research has shown that family play an important role in bullying in schools, at least in victims’ coping processes. Other studies have found that parental communication about Internet use is an effective tool to prevent compulsive Internet use, and parental-child relationships are related to online aggression. Consequently, the present study was planned to enhance our comprehension about variables linked with cyberbullying victimization, principally with parental mediation and family communication. The studies conducted show that parental mediation and family communication play an important role in cyberbullying victimization.
