摘要:Cevahircioðlu Bedosaki, 19. yüzyýlýn sonlarýnda Niðde bölgesinden gelerek Bartýn'a yerleþen ve Bartýn çevresinde ticari faaliyetlerde bulunan Rum tebaasýna mensup bir tüccardýr. 19. yüzyýlýn sonlarýnda Osmanlý taþrasýnda gerçekleþen ve on beþ yýllýk sürede ayný kiþi etrafýnda devam eden yolsuzluk olaylarý karþýsýnda merkezi yönetimin yaklaþýmýnýn seyrine dair deðerlendirmeler yapýlmýþtýr. Osmanlý arþiv belgeleri ile konuyla ilgili araþtýrmalardan yararlanýlmýþtýr.
Cevahircioðlu Bedosaki is a member of the Greek nation that came from the Niðde region in the late 19th century and settled in Bartýn. He carried out commercial activities in and around Bartýn. Bedosaki opened its first mines in Amasra, operated 14 mines in western black sea regionand became rich in the region thanks to the timber trade. He carried out his commercial activities together with his groom Sarafim and Kuço and his secretary Yazýcý Bodos. The Bedosaki family had an important share in the development of Bartýn both in terms of the employment opportunities they provided and the new living conditions brought to the city. The family has grown timber and mining trade since the late 19th century, thanks to its partnership with local administrators and traders. However, these developments brought with it various problems. With the increasing commercial activities of Bedosakis between 1890-1905, the name of the family began to be mentioned with frequent corruption and irregularities. Most of the charges stemmed from the local administrators' recognition of tolerance in Bedosaki's commercial activities. In this study, corruption events involving the name of the Bedosaki family will be handled within the framework of the relationship network they have established with local administrators. In the face of corruption events that took place in the Ottoman provinces in the late 19th century and continued around the same person in a period of fifteen years, inferences will be made regarding the course of the central government's approach.
