摘要：Símbolos, imaginarios y representaciones han motorizado durante los últimos años, gran parte de la producción historiográfica sobre la ciudad y el territorio. Sin embargo, no siempre han sido tenidas en cuenta dentro de esta expansiva producción las condiciones materiales en las que dichas representaciones circulan. En el marco de la colonización agrícola de fines del siglo XIX, el presente trabajo busca ponderar las implicancias que la circulación de ciertos textos tuvieron sobre el conocimiento del territorio. El caso de estudio es el de la colonia fundada por un grupo de galeses en 1865 y el material trabajado es el de la literatura desde la que se promovió su asentamiento en la Patagonia. Reconocer la centralidad del periódico Y Drafod como ámbito privilegiado de producción y circulación de textos de la colonia, representa una oportunidad para articular la faz representacional y la faz material de las transformaciones territoriales activadas por la colonización.
其他摘要：Symbols, imageries and representations have fueled the recent production on urban and territorial history. However, the materiality that conditions the circulation of such representations has been tended to be ignored by many of the authors involved in this historiographical renovation. The purpose of this paper is to examine the implications of texts circulation upon the formation of territorial knowledge inthe context of 19th century agricultural colonization in Argentina. The case study is the colony that the Welsh founded in Patagonia in 1865 and the sources analyzed include most of the promotional literature written by those who took part in the venture. By acknowledging the importance of the local newspaper Y Drafod for the production and circulation of written texts within the colony, we will attempt to bring together the representational and the material dimensions of the territorial transformations activated by colonization.
