摘要：O grupo “História de Guaíba” foi criado no Facebook, no dia 29 de julho de 2015, por iniciativa do bacharel em Direito Márcio Crestani, com o objetivo de preencher uma lacuna no que diz respeito à divulgação e à disponibilização de informações históricas do município de Guaíba (RS), além de procurar estimular o debate, entre seus cidadãos, sobre a preservação do patrimônio histórico e cultural da cidade. Prestes a completar 5 anos de existência, o grupo conta com 26 mil participantes, 13 mil postagens compartilhadas e 380 mil curtidas, segundo dados fornecidos pelo próprio Facebook. Neste artigo, conheceremos um pouco mais de uma iniciativa de história pública digital e sua importância para a construção da memória e da identidade de uma cidade localizada na Região Metropolitana de Porto Alegre.
其他摘要：The group intituled “História de Guaíba” was created on Facebook on July 29th, 2015, at the initiative
of the Bachelor of Law Márcio Crestani, with the objective of filling a gap with regard to the
dissemination and accessibility of historical information of the municipality of Guaíba, in addition to
stimulating the debate on the preservation of the historical and cultural heritage of the city among its
citizens. Reaching its 5th year of existence, the group has 27,000 participants, 13,000 shared
submissions and 380,000 likes, according to data provided by Facebook itself to the group creator. In
this article, we will know a little more about a initiative of digital public history and its importance for
the construction of the memory and identity of a city located at Porto Alegre metropolitan area.
