其他摘要:Teachers are especially vulnerable to developing burnout syndrome, due to the affective and emotional components inherent in the professional profile. Resilience is advocated as a factor in the human condition to be remade in the face of difficulties. In education, resilience is the condition for developing preventive pedagogy, based on respect and unconditional acceptance of the other, considering the right to affection of every human being. The objective of this cross-sectional study is to analyze the preventive effect of resilience on burnout perceived by a sample of Elementary Education teachers from Zaragoza province. The data collection tools used are: a) to measure burnout the adaptation to Spanish of Salanova's (MBI-GS), Salanova, Schaufeli, Llorens, Peiró and Grau (2000) and b) resilience is assessed by the CD-RISC Resilience Scale (Connor and Davidson, 2003). The correlational and factorial analysis of the collected information yields results that confirm that the personal characteristics and resilience of the person act as preventive variables against the self-perception of symptoms of chronic stress, burnout syndrome.
