其他摘要:The research was objected to study the digital media usage and the digital literacy of the elementary school students. It was a quantitative research with 400 samplings of 12 elementary school students in Nakhon Ratchasima province. The tool was a questionnaire, consisted of 39 question items with the coefficient alpha of Cronbach Alpha at 0.80. The data was analyzed with the descriptive analysis; the frequency, the percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, t-test and F-test. The results revealed that 1) The amount of samplings were male and female in a nearly equal proportion with the age of 8 years old. They had minimum 3 years of digital media usage. They mostly used smart phone accessing Youtube with the entertainment purposes ; watching movies, listening to the music, watching music video and cartoons. On Monday-Friday, they used digital media during 4.00-6.00 p.m. and during 09.01-12.000 a.m. on weekends. Moreover, they used digital media 2-3 hours per day with mostly under control of their parents or their guardians. 2) The digital literacy skill of them was at the low level-the moderate level as the following (1) the access skill was at the moderate level ( =2.88,S.D.=1.51 ) (2) the analysis skill was at the moderate level ( =2.91,S.D.=1.35 )( 3) the evaluation skill was at the moderate level ( =2.88,S.D.=1.40 ) (4) the creative skill was at the low level ( =2.16,S.D.=1.57) (5) the communication skill was at the moderate level ( =2.91,S.D.=1.35) (6) the reflect skill was at the moderate level ( =2.75,S.D.=1.38) and (7) the taking action skill was at the low level ( =2.27,S.D.=1.54) and 3) Male and female students had no differences in digital literacy skills ; analysis skill , access skill, reflect skill, taking action skill and creative skill. However, male and female students had significant differences in digital literacy skills ; the evaluation skill and the communication skills at the statistic of 0.5. In addition, the students, who had differences in ages, had significantly differences in digital literacy skills at the statistic of 0.01. Moreover, the older students had significantly more average mean of digital media literacy than the younger students in every aspects at the statistic of .05.
