摘要：جمهوری اسلامی ایران در سال‌های پس از انقلاب به دلیل موقعیت جغرافیایی منحصر به فرد، مشروعیت بالای نظام سیاسی، اتخاذ هویت جهانشمول اسلامی و ظرفیت بالقوه برای رهبری منطقه‌ای، در موقعیت مطلوب‌تری نسبت به حکومت پهلوی به سر می‌برد. اما وقوع جنگ تحمیلی و تبعات گریزناپذیر آن بر سیاست منطقه‌ای ایران تأثیر نهاد. پیامدهای منفی جنگ به کاهش کنش‌گری ایران تا قبل از تحولات منطقه‌ای ناشی از حوادث 11 سپتامبر 2001 منجر شد. پرسش اصلی نوشتار حاضر این است که مهم‌ترین تأثیر جنگ تحمیلی از سوی عراق بر قدرت منطقه‌ای ایران چه بوده است؟این پژوهش با رویکرد توصیفی- تحلیلی به انجام رسیده و برای تحلیل داده‌ها از روش تحلیل نظریه مبنا (نظریه قدرت منطقه ای) استفاده شده است. یافته‌های تحقیق نشان می‌دهد که در سطح بین‌المللی، افزایش فشار ساختاری نظام بین‌الملل و در سطح داخلی فرسایش منابع قدرت (اقتصادی و نظامی) تاثیراتی بوده که تضعیف قدرت منطقه‌ای ایران را در پی داشته است. به گونه‌ای که بازتاب آن را می‌توان در تضعیف ایفای نقش‌های سه گانه رهبری، پاسداری و پشتیبانی منطقه‌ای مشاهده کرد.
其他摘要：In the years following the revolution, the Islamic Republic of Iran, because of its
unique geographical location, the high legitimacy of the political system, the
adoption of a universal islamic identity, and the potential for regional leadership in a
more favorable position than the Pahlavi Regime. But the outbreak of the imposed
war and its inevitable consequences influenced Iran's Regional Policy.The negative
consequences of the war led to a decline in Iran's activism prior to the regional
developments following the events of September 11, 2001.The main question of the
present article is what was the most important effect of the war imposed by Iraq on
the regional power of Iran? This research has been done with adescriptive-analytical
approach and for data analysis, the method of baseline theory analysis (regional
power theory) has been used. Findings show that at the international level,
increasing the structural pressure of the international system and at the domestic
level, the erosion of power sources (economic and military) have effects that have
weakened the regional power of Iran. In a way that its reflection can be seen in
weakening the Play a triple role of regional leadership, Custodianship and
protection.
