摘要：INTRODUÇÃO: Diabetes é uma síndrome metabólica decorrente da falta de insulina e/ou incapacidade da insulina exercer adequadamente seus efeitos, causando um aumento da glicose no sangue. O pé diabético é uma complicação do Diabetes mellitus e ocorre quando uma área machucada ou infeccionada nos pés desenvolve uma úlcera. Seu aparecimento pode ocorrer quando a circulação sanguínea é deficiente e os níveis de glicemia são mal controlados. Qualquer ferimento nos pés deve ser tratado rapidamente para evitar complicações que possam levar à amputação do membro afetado. OBJETIVO: Este estudo tem como objetivo geral analisar a eficiência do laser nos pés dos pacientes diabéticos. MÉTODO: Foi realizada uma revisão sistemática na base de dados da PubMed e Scielo, utilizando como termo de procura a palavra pé diabético, fisioterapia e laserterapia. RESULTADOS: Os artigos mostraram que o método da laserterapia pode ser utilizado no pé diabético, por trazer benefícios fisiológicos, a nível celular e ação anti-inflamatória sendo indicado como forma de tratamento e prevenção. CONCLUSÃO: Embora seja necessário a realização de mais pesquisas na área e com maior amostra, a laserterapia é uma ferramenta útil na reabilitação e na prevenção das lesões causadas pela diabetes. USE OF LASER IN DIABETIC FOOT HEALING INTRODUCTION: Diabetes is a metabolic syndrome due to a lack of insulin and / or inability to properly exercise its effects, causing an increase in blood glucose. Diabetic foot is a complication of Diabetes mellitus and occurs when an injured or infected foot area develops an ulcer. Its onset may occur when blood circulation is poor and blood glucose levels are poorly controlled. Any foot injury should be treated promptly to avoid complications that could lead to amputation of the affected limb. OBJECTIVE: This study aims to analyze the efficiency of the laser in the feet of diabetic patients. Method: A systematic review was performed in the PubMed and Scielo database, using the search term the word diabetic foot, physiotherapy and laser therapy. RESULTS: The articles showed that the laser therapy method could be used in the diabetic foot, because it brings physiological benefits, at the cellular level and anti-inflammatory action, is indicated as a form of treatment and prevention. CONCLUSION: Although more research is needed in the area and with a larger sample, laser therapy is a useful tool in the rehabilitation and prevention of injuries caused by diabetes.
