摘要：Bu çalışmada, “Değerler eğitimi uygulamalarının öğrencilere kazandırılması istenen olumlu özellikler üzerinde bir etkisi var mıdır, varsa ne yöndedir?” sorusuna yanıt aranmıştır. Araştırmada ilk olarak, değerler eğitimi konusunda hazırlanmış, 55 yüksek lisans ve doktora tezine ulaşılmıştır. İlkokul, ortaokul ve liselerde değerler eğitimi almanın öğrenciler üzerinde etkisinin incelendiği, etki büyüklüğü hesaplanabilecek veriye sahip 7 tezdeki 21 deneysel çalışma meta analize dâhil edilmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda Türkiye’de değerler eğitimi uygulamalarından başarılı sonuçlar alındığı, değerler eğitiminin öğrencilere kazandırılmak istenen olumlu özellikler üzerinde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir etkisinin olduğu, bu etkinin lise ve ortaokulda mükemmel, ilkokulda orta düzeyde olduğu sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır.
其他摘要：In this study, an answer is sought to this question: “Is there any effect of the practices of values education on the positive characteristics that is desired for students gaining? If yes, in which way is this effect?” In the present research, initially, a pool of 55 master’s and PhD theses on the values education, was established. 21 experimental studies within 7 theses with a calculable effect size, were included in the meta analysis. As a result of the analysis carried out, favorable results are attained through values education practices in Turkey, and it is found that the values education has statistically a significant effect on the positive characteristics desired for students to gain and this effect of values education is significantly high in secondary schools and high schools, whereas it is at a moderate level in primary schools.
