摘要：Bu araştırmanın amacı, ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan öğretmenlerin sahip olduğu değerlere ilişkin algılarını belirlemektir. Araştırmanın evrenini 2006?2007 öğretim yılında, Malatya ili şehir merkezindeki, ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan 4627 öğretmen, örneklemini ise, araştırma evreninden seçkisiz örneklemeyle belirlenen 575 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplamada, Lussier tarafından geliştirilen, 16 madde ve 8 alt boyuttan oluşan bir ölçekten yararlanılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında, öğretmen değerlerinin cinsiyet, kıdem, medeni durum, branş ve eşin eğitim düzeyi değişkenlerine göre fark gösterip göstermediğine bakılmış, ayrıca öğretmenlerin aynı değere ilişkin kuramsal ve uygulamaya dönük durumlara ilişkin algıları arasındaki korelasyonlar incelenmiştir. Sonuçta, araştırmaya katılan öğretmenlerin, mutlu bir evliliklerinin olmasını, aileleri ile birlikte vakit geçirmeyi, yakın arkadaşlarının olmasını, diğer değerlere oranla daha fazla önemsedikleri, algılar arasında branş, medeni durum ve eşin eğitim düzeyi değişkenlerine göre bazı değerlerde farklılıkların olduğu saptanmıştır.
其他摘要：The aim of this research is to determine perceptions of the primary school teachers’ regarding their values. The population of the study comprised a total number of 4.627 primary school teachers working in Malatya city centre, during 2006-2007 semester. The sample of the study was consisting 575 teachers selected from the population by random sampling method. Research instrument of the study, developed by Lussier (Yıl), was consisting of 16 items and 8 sub-scales. Within the context of the research, if teachers’ values differ according to gender, seniority, marital status, branch and partner’s educational level was investigated. In addition, correlations between teachers’ theoretical and practical value perceptions for same value type were investigated. Results showed that, compared to other values, participating teachers attach more importance to have a happy marriage, have a great time with their families, and have close friends. And also it was found that there were statistically meaningful differences between teacher perceptions in terms of branch, marital status and partner’s educational level variables.
