摘要：Bu çalışmada, geçmişten günümü/.c öğretmen yetiştirme olanında yapılan çalışmalar, toplumumuzda öğretmenlik mesleğine verilen değer ekseninde özetlenmiş, eğitim fakültelerindeki yeniden yapılanma projesi çerçevesinde orta öğretim öğretmenlik programlarında öğrenim .gören öğretmen adaylarının lisans eğitimleri Öncesinde öğretmenlik mesleğini tercih ederkenki beklentileri ile mezuniyet öncesi düşüncelerinin karşılaştırılması amaçlanmıştır Betimleyici araştırma yöntemi kapsamında öze/ durum araştırması yaklaşımıyla yürütülen çalışmada bulgular, Karadeniz Teknik Üniversitesi Fatih Eğitim fakültesi OFMA Eğitimi Bölümünde öğrenim gören; 28'/ matematik, 20'si fizik, 2.4'ü kimya ve \8'ı biyoloji programından olmak üzere toplam 90 öğretmen adaylyla yürütülen yarı-yapılandırıimış mülakatlarla elde edilmiştir. Araştırma bulgularına dayalı olarak, öğretmen adaylarının büyük bir çoğunluğunun, mesleğe ilişkin beklentilerinin istenilir seviyede karşılanmadığı, gelecek kaygısı taşıdığı ve öğretmenlik mesleğinin eskiye oranla saygın görülmediği sonucuna varılmıştır. Bununla birlikte, öğretmen adaylarının öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik sahip oldukları olumsuz değerlerin, eğitim fakültelerinden mezun olma aşamasında başarı, sevgi gibi olumlu içerikli değer kavramlarına dönüştüğü anlaşılmıştır.
其他摘要：The purpose of the study was to compare ihe secondary-school teacher-candidates' expectations about the value of teaching profession before their undergraduate programs and during their post-graduation in the context of the re-construction project of education facultics. Casc study format in descriptive research meihod mas used. The findings zoere colleeted from the semi-struçtured intervieıvs responded by secondary-school teacher-candidates, 28 ofzvhom zvere mathematics, 20 zuere physics, 24 zoere ehemistry and 18 zvere biology majors in the Secondary Science and Matematics Education Department at Fatih Faculty of Education in Karadeniz Technical University. Based on the research findings, we coneluded that most candidates' expectations regarding teaching profession met. They were found to be feeling anxious about their fütur e. Moreover, as tcachers, they feel that they do not receive enough respect in the society ioday compared to the past. in addition, it was found that the negative values tozoards teaching profession among the candidates havc been changed to more positİve values in the final semesters. Some if these positive values arc success and affeetion.
