摘要：X ve Y kuşağının birbirlerine karşı algılarının ve bakış açılarının ortaya çıkarılması, bu çalışmanın amacını oluşturmaktır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda; bir taraftan X Kuşağı akademisyenlerin, Y Kuşağı öğrenci özellikleri ile ilgili ne tür algılara sahip oldukları incelenirken diğer taraftan Y Kuşağı öğrencilerin, derslerine giren X Kuşağı akademisyenlerin etkileşim özellikleri hakkında nasıl bir algı ve görüşe sahip oldukları incelenerek bir karşılaştırma yapılmıştır. Bunun için veri toplama aracı olarak; X Kuşağına uygulanan araştırmada, Smith ve Smith (2005)’in “Öğretmenlerin Y Kuşağı Öğrenci Özellikleri Algıları Ölçeği” Isparta Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesinde görevli 68 akademisyene uygulanırken Y Kuşağı üzerine yapılan araştırmada ise Wubbels ve Levy (1993)’nin “Öğretmen Etkileşim Ölçeği” aynı fakültedeki 6.766 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre; X Kuşağı, Y Kuşağını hem genel özellikler hem de öğrenme yetkinlikleri bakımından yetersiz görürken iş ve iletişim yetkinlikleri açısından olumlu ya da olumsuz bir eğilim belirtmemektedirler. Buna karşılık Y Kuşağı, X Kuşağını etkileşim özellikleri açısından yeterli görmekte, onları bir yandan lider, yardımsever (cana yakın), anlayışlı, kararlı, memnun ve uyarıcı olmayan bireyler olarak görürken diğer yandan sert ve özgürlükçü olmayan kişiler olarak değerlendirmektedir.
其他摘要：The discovery of the perceptions and views of X and Y generations against each other is the purpose of this study. In accordance with this purpose; the X-Belt academicians and Y-Gen students perceived their perception against each other and made a comparison. For this aim, as a means of data, “Teacher Perceptions of Generation Y Student Characteristics Scale” of Smith and Smith (2005) is applied to 68 academicians working at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Süleyman Demirel University who represent the X generation. For the study carried out for the generation Y students, the “Questionnaire on Teacher Interaction (QTI) scale” of Wubbels and Levy (1993) is applied to 6,766 students who study at the same faculty in the 2014-2015 period. According to the results of the study; while the generation X academicians have a negative perception about the general properties and learning proficiency of the generation Y students, they do not indicate a positive or negative tendency about the students’ features of work and communication. In contrast, the generation Y students’ perception about the generation X academics’ interaction with themselves is generally positive and while students, on the one hand, see the generation X academics as leader, helpful/friendly, considerate, determined, content and nonstimulating person, on the other hand they see them as strict and nonliberal person.
