摘要：Bu araştırmada, Sosyal Bilgiler dersi coğrafya kazanımlarının gerçekleştirilmesinde öğretmenlerin tercih ettiği yöntemler ve bu yöntemleri tercih gerekçelerinin neler olduğunu ortaya çıkarmak amaçlanmıştır. Nitel araştırma deseninde gerçekleştirilen bu çalışmada katılımcılar Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenleri arasından belirlenmiştir. Araştırma verileri toplam 12 sorudan oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile elde edilmiştir. Bu formun geliştirilmesinde ve forma son halinin verilmesinde uzman görüşünden faydalanılmıştır. Araştırma katılımcıları, 2012-2013 eğitim öğretim yılında Manisa il merkezindeki toplam 12 ortaokulda görev yapan öğretmenler arasından seçilmiştir. Bu çerçevede araştırmaya 16’sı alt, 8’i orta ve 6’sıde üst sosyo-ekonomik gruba dahil öğrencilerin bulunduğu okullardan olmak üzere toplam 30 Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmeni dahil edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler, okulların sosyo-ekonomik durumu ve öğretmenlerin mezun oldukları bölüm değişkenlerine göre karşılaştırılmıştır. Genel olarak mezun olunan bölüm ve okulun sosyo-ekonomik seviye değişkenlerinin, Sosyal Bilgiler dersi coğrafya konuları işlenirken uygulanan yöntemlerin seçiminde etkili olduğu sonucu ortaya çıkmıştır.
其他摘要：This study is aimed to reveal social studies teachers’ method applied in Social Studies course and their reasons for choosing these methods for realization of geographic gains. In this qualitative research pattern study, the participants were selected among the teachers of social studies. The research data consists of a total of 12 questions were obtained by semi-structured interview form. For the development and delivery of the final version of the form expert opinion was utilized. The participants were selected among the working teachers at a total of 12 secondary school in center of Manisa at the academic year 2012-2013. In this context, research was made with a total of 30 Social Studies teachers; including 16 of them where the students were from lower socio-economic groups, eight were medium and 6 in the upper socioeconomic groups of the study, 8 medium and 6, including the upper socioeconomic group. The obtained data are compared based on socio-economic status of schools and teachers’ the graduation field variables. In general, the graduation field and socio-economic status of school variables are found to impact on the selection of the methods applied for geography subjects in Social Studies course.
