摘要：Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı Orta Okul Programını 1968'de hazırlamaya başlamış, 1970'de yürürlüğe koymuştur. Program temelde orta okul öğretim programlarını kapsamakla birlikte, liselerde uygulanan coğrafya programlarında da yararlı olabilecek bazı temel amaçlar önermiştir. Ancak M.E.B. Talim Terbiye Kurulunun liselere yönelik coğrafya öğretim programlarının amaçlarım gösteren resmi bir kaynak ortaya koymalıdır. Çalışmamız da 1968 Ortaokul programındaki amaçlar incelenerek, günümüzde eksikliği hissedilen lise coğrafya müfredatının ortaya konularak çağımızın gereklerine uygun amaçlar belirlenmesi gerekliliği ele alınmıştır.
其他摘要：Turkish Ministry of Education started to prepare the secondary school program in 1968 and put it into effect in 1970. While it basically covers the secondary school programs, it proposes some basic goals that will also be helpful in high school programs. Taking this into account, Ministry of Education*s committee of Instruction and Training (Talim Terbiye Kurulu) should put forward an official guideline setting the goals of the geography education programs for high schools. Closely examining the secondary school program in 1968, we address the necessity for setting contemporary goals for the high school geography programs which has some obvious setbacks.
