摘要:This paper studies the motivation of the students enrolled in two subjects –music and performing arts– with different levels of autonomy during the development of a project-based learning. We implemented an action research during the project in order to improve motivation. According to self-determination theory, autonomy, relatedness, and competence are three psychological needs that, if fulfilled in the classroom, will lead to greater motivation. Results showed that –despite the lower autonomy of the group of music– both groups did not present differences in the perception of the three psychological basic needs and both developed a high motivation.
