摘要：O presente estudo tem como objetivo analisar e categorizar a relação entre a Educação Ambiental e a Educação do Campo considerando as modalidades de educação e as dimensões epistemológica e prática das abordagens. Tendo a pesquisa bibliográfica como método de abordagem, foi realizado o levantamento de artigos em sete periódicos online de Educação Ambiental, submetendo-os à técnica de Análise Conteúdo. Os resultados apontaram que a relação da Educação Ambiental com a Educação do Campo ocorre de forma pragmática, reducionista e acrítica, o que representa um obstáculo para uma maior interação entre os campos, e, sobretudo, para a construção de um processo educativo que auxilie os indivíduos na compreensão da dinâmica socioambiental do meio rural onde estão inseridos. The relationship between Environmental Education and Rural Education: aspects from publications in Environmental Education journals The present study objective to analyze and categorize the relationship between Environmental Education and Rural Education considering the education modalities and the epistemological and practical dimensions of the approaches. Using bibliographic research as a method of approach, was carried out a survey of papers in seven online journals on Environmental Education, submitting them to the Content Analysis technique. The results showed that the relationship between Environmental Education and Rural Education occurs in a pragmatic, reductionist and uncritical, which represents an obstacle to greater interaction between the countryside, and, above all, for the construction of an educational process that helps individuals to understand the socio-environmental dynamics of the rural environment where they are inserted.
