  • 摘要:This paper put forward the reflections intensified in official Brazilian political tone on the quality of education. Since 1990, systems assessments have become a possibility for regulating educational quality, influenced by international organizations. Documentary and bibliographic survey (qualitative approach) was used on the national assessment policy in Brazil, as well as in the World Bank guidelines for the educational sector. We sought to clarify the ideas, the values propagated and underlying quality, saturated with market logic, pointing out to the importance of the dispute of other ideas and values that lead to the construction of the social quality of education, with a view towards to humanity and the right to quality public education.
