  • 摘要:This research sought to explain, through multiple regressions, the relationship between 7 characteristic factors of teachers and student performance measured from the National Student Performance Exam (ENADE) and Indicator of the Difference between Observed and Expected Performance (IDD). The research with a quantitative approach collected data from 63 courses / campuses in the databases of the National Institute of Studies and Research (INEP) and the University Estácio de Sá (UNESA). The results of the research indicate the relevance of initiatives such as: (i) valorization of professors with a doctorate, (ii) improvement of the orientation process for completion work, (iii) management of teaching experience (age) and (iv) analysis and reflection on the results of the evaluation of pedagogical practice, in order to improve the performance of students.
