摘要:This work has the objective to create an organized history of the animated GIFs used in digital social networks. To achieve it, is necessary to build a panorama from the uses of GIF and also the comprehension of four movements: (1) from Nietzsche, Lévy/Lemos, Peruzollo and Aguiar; (2) the comprehension of the scenery where the GIFs are in, featured as an ephemeral era, based on the concepts from Baudelaire, Bauman and Recuero; (3) a history rescue of the animated GIFs, watching their predecessors, their history in the digital social networks and their recent relatives (applications and social networks with that share the same principle as the GIF), all of that based in the concepts from Nadal, Amaral, Couri, Machado, Moura, and others; (4) the history’s presentation and two constitutions of GIFs: the lazy GIF and the odd GIF, based on Nietzsche's and Deleuze’s ideas. The method used to do this work is an exploratory research supported by a bibliographic research (books, essays, thesis) and the simple observation technique. Finally, the work considers the importance of carrying on with the researches about GIFs and tools that create images in movement (looping), so as the observation of the changes and attitudes of the cybernetic/digital ambient users. In this way, it is possible to use the concepts explained in the work to reflect if what is being produced on internet is taking to some place or if it has an quick effect in our lives (ephemeral/transient).
