摘要:The aim of this paper is to understand the dimension of pastoralism as a strategic element of organizational identity in a confessional higher education institution. The relationship between strategic management, organizational identity and pastoralism is discussed and investigated empirically in a case study conducted at the Centro Universitário Católica do Leste de Minas Gerais. Research data were collected through institutional documents, participatory observation and semi-structured interviews. The results indicate that pastoralism can be a super strategy, as it can guide strategic management, inspire and support the construction of organizational identity in a confessional higher education institution.
