摘要：This article discusses the role of Brazilian cinema in the elaboration of racial and gender imagery; and based on cultural studies, feminist criticism and film analysis methodology, she investigates the construction of female characters (Maria and Virgínia) in the movie Bendito Fruto (Sérgio Goldenberg, 2004), seeking to identify how the intersection of gender and race affects their trajectories and relationships of affection.
