摘要：This article approaches educommunication as a field of interrelation between education and communication and of convergence of knowledge. The text points out the strategic importance of educommunication for the broad and comprehensive education of students in high school. For this purpose, it was sought through bibliographic research the conceptualization and understanding of educommunication and its possible collaborations for the teaching process in high school. Documentary analysis of the current legislation - Law 13.415 / 17 and the new BNCC - was also carried out with regard to curricula and pedagogical projects. There was also a brief discussion on Integrated High School as a possible catalyst for the comprehensive and comprehensive training of young people today. In its conclusion, the article reveals that the term is not expressly stated in the current regulation of high school, despite the texts pointing out the necessary interrelationship between education and communication.
