标题：Panorama quantitativo da produção científica catalogadas na base de dados do CNPq das instituições de pesquisa da Região Metropolitana do Vale do Paraíba e Litoral Norte
摘要：The objective of this article is to present the quantitative profile of the scientific production of the Public Research Institutes and Higher Education Institutions in the Metropolitan Region of Vale do Paraíba and North Coast. Through the consultation of data from the 2016 Census of the Research Groups Directory of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (DGP / CNPq), the scientific production of research and higher education institutions was identified by area of knowledge and its distribution in the municipalities of the region. It is an exploratory research, with a quantitative approach and a case study that allows the recognition of local knowledge-producing centers to promote scientific dissemination in the region.
