摘要：Este ensaio procurou apresentar as ideias de Jean Laplanche de maneira viva, destacando o modo como o autor as articulou com a formação dada aos alunos de pós-graduação em psicanálise (Université Paris VII), bem como o diálogo estabelecido com analistas do mundo inteiro em congressos e conferências internacionais. A ênfase foi dada à ideia princeps de primado do outro na constituição do psiquismo e da sexualidade inconsciente. É a presença do outro em nós, do estranho/familiar salientado por Freud, que é retomada por Laplanche para repensar não apenas os fundamentos da psicanálise, mas os fundamentos da razão ocidental. O papel da alteridade na constituição do psíquico abre uma importante discussão a respeito da dimensão cultural que nos constitui - discussão essencial para se repensar as bases de uma psicanálise brasileira.
其他摘要：This essay sought to present the ideas of Jean Laplanche in a lively manner, with emphasis on the way the author articulated them with the education given to the Psychoanalysis post-graduate students (Université Paris VII), as well as on the dialogue established with analysts worldwide during international congresses and conferences. The emphasis was given to the princeps idea of primacy of the other in the constitution of psychism and of unconscious sexuality. It is the presence of the other within us, of the strange/familiar underlined by Freud, which is resumed by Laplanche in order to rethink not only the foundations of psychoanalysis but the foundations of Western thought. The role of otherness in the constitution of the psychical opens an important discussion about the cultural dimension which constitutes us, central for rethinking the bases of a Brazilian psychoanalysis.
