摘要：The article reveals the social situations that determine the need to educate a tolerant person, which is considered as a social phenomenon; presented an analysis of approaches to the design of effective pedagogical conditions for the education of a tolerant person in the university; noted boundaries and risks in the education of a tolerant person in the multicultural educational environment of the university.
