摘要：Essa pesquisa tem por objetivo verificar o conhecimento e o uso de medicamentos fitoterápicos por estudantes do curso de farmácia da Universidade Paranaense - UNIPAR, Unidade Universitária de Francisco Beltrão – PR. Para isso, foram investigados 29 alunos matriculados de primeira à quarta série do curso de farmácia através da aplicação de questionário. 96% dos alunos eram do sexo feminino e a média de idade foi de 20,7 anos. Em relação à utilização de fitoterápicos pelos acadêmicos, 72,4% referiram que já utilizaram, enquanto 27,6% responderam que utilizam com frequência, sendo que nenhum aluno relatou nunca ter utilizado e 69% dentre todos os entrevistados relataram utilização por automedicação. Os principais motivos que os levaram os acadêmicos à utilização de fitoterápicos foram distúrbios gastrointestinais e ansiedade. Em relação ao aparecimento de efeitos adversos após a utilização dos fitoterápicos, 86,2% dos alunos relataram não haver qualquer sintoma adverso, e por fim, foi questionado se os alunos acreditam ter algum conhecimento a respeito da área de fitoterapia, sendo que 65,5% respondeu positivamente. Em conclusão, observou-se que os estudantes do curso de farmácia relataram ter conhecimento e fazer uso de medicamentos fitoterápicos, principalmente para reverter distúrbios do sistema nervoso central e gastrointestinal, sendo na maioria das vezes, por automedicação.
其他摘要：This research aims to verify the knowledge and use of herbal medicines by students of pharmacy´s course of the University of Paranaense - UNIPAR, University Unit from Francisco Beltrão - PR. For this purpose, 29 students enrolled from first to fourth grade of the pharmacy course were investigated through the application of a questionnaire. 96% of the students were female and the average age was 20.7 years. Regarding the use of herbal medicines by academics, 72.4% said they had already used them, while 27.6% answered that they use them frequently, anyone reported that never used herbal medicines and 69% of all respondents reported use by self-medication. The main reasons that leads the students to use the herbal medicines were gastrointestinal disorders and anxiety. Regarding of adverse effects provocade by the use of herbal medicines, 86.2% of the students reported no adverse symptoms, and finally, it was questioned if the students believe that they have any knowledge about the area of herbal medicine, and 65.5% responded positively. In conclusion, it was observed that the students of the pharmacy course reported having knowledge and use of herbal medicines, mainly to revert disorders of the central and gastrointestinal nervous system, being most of the times by self medication.
