摘要:The article is devoted to the first all-Russian codification of positive law, one of the important results of which was the Sudebnyk of 1550. The authors argue that the Sudebnyk of 1550 becomes a point of break between the generally accepted and the legalized, but does not lose touch with the legal tradition. The Sudebnyk of 1550 for the first time in the history of Russian law, he defined the areola of the priority action of the law, consolidated the principle of monarchical rule, established the priority of the tsar to the truth as the highest legal value in Russian society. As a result, centralization and autocracy, an order for the implementation of national affairs, the state’s monopoly on justice and the legal formalization of truth into law become the essential foundations of Russian medieval positive law.
