摘要:To support the formulation of policies related to the achievement of the 16th SDGs, namely maintaining community safety, this study examines how socioeconomic indicators such as Adjusted Per Capita Expenditure, Gini Ratio and Mean Years of Schooling (MYS) affect the Crime Rate of regencies/cities in Central Kalimantan and South Kalimantan in 2011-2018. Besides, a spatial dependency study was also conducted for the data. The method used is the Spatial Panel Data Fixed Effect, with the Quasi-Maximum Likelihood estimation method. The results of this study are variables that have a significant effect on crime rates in Central Kalimantan and South Kalimantan are Adjusted Per Capita Expenditures and MYS. Adjusted Per Capita Expenditures has a negative effect, while MYS has a positive effect. Spatial analysis shows the existence of spatial dependence on crime rate data in both provinces.
