  • 摘要:The main objective of this study is to identify the cultural consumption of women in the city of Ilam in 1397. The methodology of this study was based on qualitative and phenomenological approach. For this purpose, semi-structured interviews with 18 women aged 15 and over were conducted on the basis of a targeted sampling in the city of Ilam, in which women expressed their experiences in this regard. The data obtained from these interviews were analyzed using the applied phenomenological method. Findings: Three types of findings were extracted from the findings that could capture the women's perspective on the phenomenon of cultural consumption. These types are symbolic and identity cultural consumption, leisure cultural consumption, and adaptive-cultural cultural consumption. Conclusion: The findings of this study could provide a clear picture of the views of women who have experienced a particular cultural consumption phenomenon. The experiences of women from this phenomenon have shown that they consider cultural consumption as symbolic in expressing their identity against others. Women are passive in spending their leisure time and the consumption of women's cultural goods in the city of Ilam is based on the contingency of living conditions. These results have provided important concepts in the field of cultural consumption that can be used to develop educational programs for the correct orientation of women's cultural consumption.
