摘要：O objetivo desse artigo foi o de mapear a formação e a produção intelectual de docentes que atuam em Programas de Pós-Graduação PPGs em Planejamento Urbano e Regional PUR, com ênfase no tema do desenvolvimento regional e gênero. Foram objetivos específicos: (i) caracterizar os PPGs em PUR; (ii) relacionar formação docente e gênero/sexo; (iii) identificar docentes que têm produção intelectual sobre desenvolvimento regional e gênero e os principais temas de pesquisa. Uma constatação é que, a rigor, não há maiores diferenças entre mulheres e homens, exceto na distribuição de bolsas de produtividade em pesquisa. Na produção intelectual sobre gênero, em que estão em maior número, as mulheres tratam de temas como: o espaço rural e urbano, espacialidades em movimento, vulnerabilidades, sexualidade, grupos e instituições sociais. A presença dos estudos de gênero no desenvolvimento regional pode conferir maior abertura aos estudos que têm tomado a região como recorte e contenção, oferecendo-lhes, em troca, uma compreensão relacional de região, que traz consigo o potencial libertador das identidades binárias e das hierarquias de raça e classe.
其他摘要：The objective of this article was to map the formation and intellectual production of professors working in postgraduate programs PPG in urban and Regional planning PUR, with emphasis on the theme of regional development and gender. Specific objectives were: (i) to characterize PPG in PUR; (ii) to relate teacher education and gender/gender; (iii) to identify professors who have intellectual production on regional development and gender and the main research topics. Strictly speaking, one finding is that there are no major differences between women and men, except for the distribution of research productivity scholarships. In the intellectual production on gender, in which women are in greater number, they deal with themes such as: rural and urban space, moving spatiality, vulnerabilities, sexuality, social groups and institutions. The presence of gender studies in regional development can give greater openness studies that have taken the region as cut and containment, offering them, in turn, a relational understanding of the region, which brings with it the liberating potential of binary identities and hierarchies of race and class.
